The Judo class is taught by Andy Ryan 4th Dan and former Irish Judo Champion. Andy has fought for Ireland all over the world and holds 10 senior Irish titles. The Judo club is affiliated to the IJA...Irish Judo Association the Judo club is new in the gym and we cater for first timers up to black belt.
MMA classes are taught by Andy and some members of the pro team. MMA classes are divided into two groups fight team and beginner/junior class. We have guys from 10 to 16 and first time fighters on Monday followed by the fight team, the club boasts some great pro fighters on its team from Neil Seery Irish and British champion, John Donnelly one of the best fighters in Ireland and Karl Roach one of Irelands top heavy weights. We also have some great young talent coming up like Paul Redmond, Eric Boylan and Sean Paul Power
BJJ classes is taught by Andy Ryan brown belt under Rodrigo Medeiros and are part of the world wide team that is bjj revolution team Andy has won the European open in 2009 at purple belt and in 2010 won the brown belt division. The club can boast 7 European medallists in the club all these players have come through the club from beginner to European medal winners. We have a great beginner class to get you going and a competition class for the more advanced.
