TEAM RYANO had 2 fighters take part in this event
patrick wixted 61kgs
richie edgeworth 64kgs
levi kehoe 65kgs
paul redmond 70kgs
also a late replacement philip mulpeter who took a fight with 1 days notice as one of the fighters from australia got injured
the team prepared well for this event with a 10 week training camp.
thanks to dave mc conkey from the combat workshop and tony lawless or pilates instructor who got this guys in shape.
the team was led by andy ryan and neil seery .
first up was patrick who fought a hard fight but took a good decision after 3 rounds
next up was richie edgeworth ,richie had put alot of time and effort in to training for this fight and it showed getting the win in round 2 after dropping his oppenent
followed up with some great ground and pound.
next up was levi kehoe 30 mins before his fight we were told his fight was cancled as his usa oppenent had 2 pro fights and the comission would not allow the fight to happen
levi had trained very hard for this fight and would of done well.
up next was paul redmond who as always trains very hard ,this fight did not go his way and after 3 rounds lost on points.
last to go on TEAM IRELAND was philip who took on one of the usa star fighters ,philip got caught at the end of round 1 with some big shots and got caught in a guillotine choke
